Previously (2002-2009) professor for sports pedagogy at a teacher training college. 2008 to 2009 visiting professor for sports education and didactics at the University of Vienna. Since 2006 honorary lecturer for training pedagogy at the coaching academy Cologne of the German Olympic Sports Association. Scientifically, Prof. Dr. Long concerned with the phenomenon of human "movement", movement coordination and pedagogical questions and problems of teaching and learning. His scientific interests lie in qualitative training and movement theory, general sport and movement education as well as the conception, implementation and evaluation of movement-related educational processes in various settings (movement education, school sport, health sport and competitive sport). Harald Lange has published over 250 scientific papers - 50 of them books and collections. Many of his books are designed to be application-oriented and are therefore written so that they can be understood by practicing teachers.
